BR Motorsport N55/S55 crank bolt capture plates are designed to eradicate the all-too common loosening of the crank hub bolt on BMW’s N55 and S55 engines.
Machined from 6082 Aerospace grade aluminium and then hard anodised finished, made in Lancashire, UK.
These are one of the hardest wearing and easiest capture plates to fit on the market. We have designed them so there is no need to drop the radiator, everything can be done in situ with only the need to remove the undertrays to gain access.
These fit over your oem crank bolt and prevent it from coming lose, causing the dreaded crank hub slip.
Comes with all fitting hardware - a medium strength loctite can be used for extra bolt security if so desired.
